    One in a while you get shown the light . .

    … in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

    Lifehacker article today shows how you can track stats on Craigslist automagically using bit.ly:

    Lifehacker reader Jenny saw an older tip on tracking page views on Craigslist, but wanted a way to get the same stats-tracking on the site’s free ads without having to have your own image-serving web space. She utilized a little HTML tweaking and the free stat-tracking, URL-shortening service bit.ly to pull it off. It’s a pretty clever hack that even the bit.ly team seems cool with.
